Marisa Jimenez
Marisa Jimenez began dancing at the age of 5 and has been addicted every since. Born, raised, and received training in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson Fine Arts Academy in 2002 with an emphasis in Dance and continued training at Loyola Marymount University, receiving a BA in Dance in 2006. From there till now, she has worked with such amazing choreographers as Judy Scalin, Holly Johnston, Lorreta Livingston, Regina Klenjoski, Christopher Hasson, Kate Hutter, Ryan Heffington, Laura Karlin, and Terri Best. She joined the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company in 2006 and continues to dance with them. In 2007 she performed with Latin Artist Zion in Santiago, Chile and joined Faux Pas Dance Company. She attributes her success to her parents and two great sisters. And if she is not dancing, she is writing for Chica Girl magazine as a motivational and inspiration writer to get young girls to follow their dreams.
Marisa danced with Invertigo in their February 2008 show Leap Year Waltzes, etc.
