GIVE ME WINGS - Stage wings are a fascinating choreographic element. They are an in-between space, a place of transitions, not quite onstage, not quite offstage. They are a place for entrances and exits, arrivals and departures. They are about what an audience does and does not see.

The evening of dance promises to be athletic, theatrical, hypnotic and inspiring. CELEBRATE DANCE 2012 offers a fresh blend of new works in a seamless production with gorgeous lighting, premieres and Los Angeles debuts. CELEBRATE DANCE was awarded the Lester Horton Award for Outstanding Achievement for Festival 2007, 2008, 2009 and many participants have received Lester Horton Dance Awards from performing in the annual event presented by “impresaria” Jamie Nichols. Most recently RhetOracle Dance Company (Flowers That Pick Themselves CD2010) was awarded a Lester Horton Dance Award and Regina Klenjoski Dance Company has been named a finalist in The Dance Under The Stars Choreography Festival (Emoticons CD2011).
