Witness the unveiling of newly minted dances by some of the hottest choreographers in Southern California and New York, including Marie de la Palme (MotionTribe), Malathi Iyengar (Rangoli Dance Company), Steve Zee (Ironworks), Holly Rothschild (String Theory), Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Adam Parson (Commonality Dance Co.), Lane Gifford (Lane & Co., NY), Lorin Johnson (Body Current Dance), Nick Ross (Nicholas Andre Dance, NY) and Sarah Silken (Paradox Dance).  The 10th edition of the Lester Horton-nominated L.A. Dance Invitational features 11 new works in all. Come early for Laura Karlin’s duet “Saxy” and see a dancer intertwine with a saxophone player. The evening also includes the Stanley Holden Award Presentation to the legendary Yvonne Mounsey, celebrated ballerina and dance teacher.
