Our first full-length performance Leap Year Waltzes, etc. premiered in February 2008 with a sold-out at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, CA. It featured 7 dancers, originally composed scores, live music, and 3 guest choreographers.

in(di)visible explores the role of clothing, duality of self and inter-personal boundaries. It features tromp l'oeil costumes, live music and an original score by Toby Karlin.

In Interior Design, a man and a woman move in together: how will they design the new living space, and how will they design their own internal spaces? Surrounded by a growing number of cardboard boxes and a looming pile of interior design magazines, they struggle to transform their space and each other. The piece is punctuated by a twist on the classical ballet pas-de-deux as the couple dances the steps with their feet stuck in boxes.

Leap Year Waltzes was 4 choreographers' exploration of leaping, waltzes and that extra day we only get every 4 years. Featuring choreography by Bahareh Ebrahimzadeh, Laura Karlin, Jones Welsh and Aimee Zannoni.

In Leap Year Waltzes, etc. Invertigo celebrated the leap year and our debut by taking full advantage of the break in our space/time continuum. You only get this extra day once every 4 years - use it wisely!
