In April 2009, Invertigo was invited to perform at Explore-a-Story, to benefit children's literacy programs run by The Wonder of Reading at the Arclight in Hollywood.

We performed a piece called Where The Wild Things Were to a crowd of delighted children. We were among guest performers such as Mayor Villaraigosa, Shia LaBeouf, Miranda Cosgrove and (we think best of all) a youth mariachi group.
