Louie Cornejo started taking dance classes in his last year in nursing school. He finished with a BFA in Dance at CSULB in 2006. While there, he had danced in an excerpt of Martha Graham's Acts of Light and Paul Taylor's Aureole among others. He also received the Outstanding Student Choreography for his work lost/HALVES at the ACDFA in 2006 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
After graduation, he had danced with Vox Dance Theatre, PTERO Dance Theatre, Helios Dance Theatre, NUGENT Dance, Keith Glassman, and Dorcas Roman-Colins, in different venues in Northern, and Southern California, Texas, Toronto and New York. He had also dabbled into choreography and presented his works in California. He is excited to perform with Invertigo Dance Theatre with a wonderful and talented ensemble.
