May I audition to perform with Invertigo?
Invertigo infrequently holds auditions, but we do keep an active roster of interested dancers of all backgrounds, gender identities, styles, and dance forms. Please email your bio, CV, and a short paragraph telling us why Invertigo’s vision and approach to dance resonates with you to [email protected] to be added to this list!
Does Invertigo hire choreographers?
Yes! As an embodiment of our values, Artistic Director Laura Karlin deeply believes in inviting other creative leaders into Invertigo projects as a Co-Creator, Choreographer, Dramaturg, and/or Director. If you are interested in collaborating, please email your bio, CV, and a short paragraph explaining which element of Invertigo you’re interested in to [email protected].
Dancing Through Parkinson’s FAQ:
Do I have to sign up for the Dancing Through Parkinson’s classes?
No, our classes are drop-in. No need to register or RSVP, but when you go to your first class please let the DTP teachers know that you’re new.
Do I need to pay for Dancing Through Parkinson’s classes?
No, our DTP classes are offered on a donation basis. All are welcome, and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Invertigo gratefully accepts DTP donations if you are able to give.
Can I make a donation to Dancing Through Parkinson’s?
Yes! Invertigo very much appreciates your support. You can give on a weekly, monthly or annual basis, by check or with a debit/credit card. Small or large, sporadic or regular giving — whatever you are able and choose to donate helps Invertigo to keep offering our DTP classes and community events. To donate, click here!
