Event Details

Thank you for your support of Invertigo!  Our 2022 Fall Soiree has sold out.  Due to the intimate format of this event, which is generously hosted in the home of one of our supporters, this year’s Soiree sold out quickly.

But, we definitely want to enjoy dance on the beach with you and have created another opportunity to make sure we can do just that.

Please join us for a casual day of dance and music at the beach on October 23rd from 3-5pm – A Time To Gather: Beach Edition.

More info here: https://www.invertigodance.org/event/ktp-beach-edition/

RSVPs are not required, but donations are still very welcome and needed to keep our wonderful programs going.

Please consider donating the amount you might have contributed for Soiree tickets to our year-end campaign!

Our Magical Soirée Honorees:

NATALIE FLORES | Community Activator

Natalie Flores is a community activator. Being a late bloomer she managed she finds her gifts a little later in life and excelled when givin’ the task of bringing people together. She worked and volunteered for non profits such as: Kiss The Ground and SafePlaceforyouth, which eventually led her to starting her own non profit: nourishLA/Nuestros Alimentos. Food has always been her main point of activation, through food she was able to gain the hearts and minds of her community members and start important discussions around sharing meals. She believes that service unto others is the most important duty one can serve on this earth and breaking bread is the way to get there.

LINDA BERGHOFF | Board Member, Dancing Through Parkinson’s Teacher

Linda Berghoff (Dancing Through Parkinson’s teacher, Invertigo board member, person living with Parkinson’s) has danced recreationally all of her life. When she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2006, the diagnosis struck a blow at her most beloved activity. She continued to stay active and take dance classes. While in NYC visiting her children and grandchildren, she found out about the Dance for PD® program and received teacher training with Invertigo Dance Theatre members, both in Brooklyn and LA. She is proud to collaborate with Invertigo to bring an invaluable program to people living with PD. Linda’s health continues to be strong, perhaps aided by her continued movement, travel, Ladino study and dance regimen, including being a teaching artist for multiple DTP classes.  She is also a board member of Invertigo Dance Theatre.

I cannot attend, would love to donate!

Please consider giving at any of the above levels to support Invertigo’s programs, even if you won’t be able to join us in person on November 6th.
