Dancing Through Parkinson’s presents: Cartography of Hope: A Journey of Change, premiering at Highways Performance Space on September 14 & 15! Join the inventive DTP dancers in a multimedia performance of poetry, dance, film and art that draws a map of change and hope. Directed by Rachel Whiting and created collaboratively by the DTP community, the audience’s “journey” begins with guided explorations of self-portrait-collages and evolves into  experiencing — with the performers — the language of movement and the design of hope.

You’re Invited!
Join us Saturday, Sept 14th at 6:30pm for a pre-show reception!

Come celebrate our community members and welcome Invertigo’s new Curatorial Council with live music, wine and an interactive gallery!

Residency Week: September 9-15

“Nothing is permanent,”
Ovid, the great storyteller, opined
And so we are all over the map,
Who to believe? Who to become?

—  Excerpt from Cartography of Hope: A Journey of Change by Francine Ringold, Ph.D., May 2024

In addition to our two performances, Dancing Through Parkinson’s is hosting a weeklong residency at Highways Performance Space, featuring free movement classes, a writing workshop with our very own, Francine Ringold, and community celebrations!

Performances and Residency Week made possible by the California Arts Council and the Department of Cultural Affairs through Invertigo Dance Theatre.
