Welcome to the Harpy Cafe, a weather-beaten diner perched on the edge of a cliff where a storm forever rages outside and the coffee never stops brewing. Inside, the air hums with stories, secrets, and the energy of women who might be monsters, saints, or something in between.

Siren Songs at the Harpy Cafe is a new dance theatre work directed by Laura Karlin that blends myth, memory, and mischief. In this world, laughter and grief share the same table, and rebellion simmers beneath the hum of neon lights. Through striking movement, evocative storytelling, and original sound design, audiences are invited into an experience that explores connection, transformation, and survival even when the storm never lets up outside.

This piece continues Invertigo’s legacy of creating bold, heartfelt works that blur the lines between dance, theatre, and social commentary.
