Acknowledgement
Invertigo Dance Theatre recognizes the complex balance between creating a safe, welcoming space for our Dancing Through Parkinson’s (DTP) attendees and the periodic need for documentation. As a donation-based program housed within a 501c3 non-profit organization, DTP relies on the support of public and private grants, personal donations, and sponsorships. Invertigo utilizes photo and video documentation of the DTP classes to solicit donations, fulfill grant requirements, as well as create marketing materials to expand our reach and ability to accomplish our mission.

Invertigo Media Capture
In the event that Invertigo schedules a photographer or videographer for class, the DTP Program Manager will give advance notice to the Teaching Artists (TAs) and participants of the given class site. By attending the class, participants are agreeing to be photographed or filmed. Any participant who does not wish to be included in public marketing must alert the Lead TA who will coordinate with the photographer or videographer to ensure the given participant’s image will not be included for any public usage.

Members of the Invertigo Staff may drop into classes to capture content for social media without advance notice. In these rare occurrences, the staff member will connect with the TAs and class attendees at the beginning of class to check in on comfort levels with documentation.

Note: Regular class participants must alert and get approval from TAs if they wish to film any portion of the class. Consent of the entire group is required.

Outside Guests Media Capture
Friends, family, caregivers, or any guests who attend class are prohibited from capturing media of any kind without verbal consent and approval by the TA. The outside guest may photograph or video their participating friend in class only with their consent and may not at any point capture media of other participants. In the event content from class is shared, Invertigo must be credited i.e tagged on Instagram (@invertigodance).

Media Usage
Photography and videography captured by Invertigo is subject to be used for but not limited to the following purposes:

• Social Media Content: i.e Website, Instagram, Newsletter Eblast
• Marketing Content: i.e Brochures, flyers, presentations
• Grant Applications and Funding Reports
• Fundraising materials
