Haylee Nichele was born and raised in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Haylee started her professional training at Arts Umbrella and continued her studies at the Juilliard School (2011 BFA). Soon after she started working for Punchdrunk in their New York show Sleep No More where she played the role of Lady MacDuff. She continues to freelance with Punchdrunk which recently brought her to Comicon to work on an experience for the popular TV show Legion. Haylee was also Alice in Third Rail Projects Then She Fell, a hit immersive show in Brooklyn. In New York Haylee has worked and toured with Kate Watson-Wallace, Brian Brooks, Adam Barruch, and the Met Opera. She currently resides in LA and has danced for Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre, Janet Roston, and BODYTRAFFIC. She was adjunct faculty at Loyola Marymount University and has taught workshops at NYU, Arts Umbrella, The Juilliard School, Gibney Dance, and LA Dance Festival. Haylee is an active teacher in Invertigo’s Dancing Through Parkinson’s classes and is excited to see where the program will expand to in the coming years!
