Rosa Lisbeth Navarrete

Rosa Lisbeth Navarrete is a Writer, Actor, and Director in dance, theater and film. Rosa’s experience with intergenerational communities stems from her work with organizations like Angela’s Pulse (angelaspulse.org), The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton (themuck.org), and Casa 0101 Theater (casa0101.org).

Rosa Lisbeth Navarrete is a Peruvian immigrant and a graduate of University of California, Berkeley’s English/Creative Writing program, a CBS Leadership Pipeline Writer Finalist (2022), and a Justice for My Sister BIPOC Sci-Fi Screenwriting fellow (2022). Rosa loves to tell fantastical stories about womxn, children & underdogs. She’s a writer/director on “The Train” an independent series developed with Showrunner Yelyna De Leon (LA Skins Festival 2021), & a co-creator on “A’we Deh Ya” a film by Paloma McGregor (Best Screendance Film, Denton Black Film Festival 2022). She is the Community Engagement Manager at Invertigo Dance Theatre and is also a Dancing Through Parkinson’s Teaching Artist. She will be working with Alicia Moseley on the team to launch the first Bilingual Dance Class program in Boyle Heights titled Baila Conmigo this August 2022!
