Rosa Navarrete

Rosa Navarrete is a Writer, Actor, and Director. Her movement work is centered around storytelling and dance theater work. Rosa enjoys teaching all ages, allowing for sources of movement to emerge from choreography, storytelling, and the community themselves. Rosa’s experience with intergenerational communities stems from her work with organizations like Angela’s Pulse (angelaspulse.org), The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton (themuck.org), and the families of Casa 0101 Theater’s Youth Program (casa0101.org). In 2018, she worked in a year-long community organized project titled Pittsfield Moves! in Massachusetts – funded by the Ford Foundation and produced by Angelas’s Pulse and Jacob’s Pillow. These days, playing is a lost art for most adults, so let’s shake it up with our littles and enjoy moving in rhythm together.
